"I am a Vietnamese teacher at Schools Elite. I have worked at SE for about one year and this has been an amazing experience in my teaching career. Everyone at the SE office is very nice and helpful. I have learnt a lot of things from my colleagues. Here I have been provided and supported with all the necessary teaching skills for my work. It is something that you can't easily get anywhere.
Thanks SE for my great teaching experience!"
"I have been teaching English as a foreign language for 5 years. Schools Elite has been one of the best places I have worked. The support from the office staff is superb and having Saturdays and Sundays off is wonderful for someone like me who likes a more structured schedule. The support I have gotten here has been the best I've ever had in my five years of teaching. Whenever there is a problem at a school they get on it immediately and it gets solved quite quickly."
"Schools Elite have one of the most efficient and professionally staffed teams that I have had the pleasure of working with during my time in SE Asia.
There are constant lines of open communication between teachers, managers and office staff which leads to a very healthy and comfortable working environment.
I have always felt heard and supported during my time at Schools Elite."
"Working at Schools Elite has been an outstanding learning experience for me. If you want to work with some of the best teaching assistants, "family-feel" peers and students who are energetic and fun, you've come to the right place. You will work week day hours, so no evenings or weekends which is a real bonus compared to a lot of teaching jobs. The management team is always supportive and willing to help where they can. Most importantly, everyone here cares about the children's education and work extremely hard in creating a safe and curative learning environment. Other teachers are always willing to help and share ideas with each other at a moment's notice, which is invaluable if you are new to ESL teaching. If you are willing to work hard and have a professional mindset, this is the place for you."
"This year I taught at a Primary School and a Kindergarten. At first I felt a bit nervous with the number of children in each class (I had only taught in Language Centres), but I soon got used to it. The classes are big but you are given two TAs who are helpful. Overall the kids are lovely and want to please their teacher.
Even though I didn't see management on a daily basis, they were quick to respond to e-mails and were able to fix problems. I enjoyed working with the other teachers. We shared teaching ideas and had a laugh at break time.
On the social side of things, I went out for lunch with the teachers and TAs and we have met up for a beer in Bia Hois.
One of the best things about working for Schools Elite is that all the teaching is during the day leaving evenings and weekends free."
"Accepting a position in Schools Link has honestly been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I have never been in a position where I have felt so fully supported by my superiors, and where I have found them so approachable about any topics, even ones not relating to work. I also feel as though I have made lasting friendships while working here. Not only with the colleagues I see in school, but also with the ones I share an office location with. I also love working in the school that I was sent to, and hope that they will be happy to see me back next year. Schools Link is a fantastic company and I look forward to continuing working for them."
"Hi everyone, my name is Rosanne and I'm Senior Teacher at Language Link Dai Co Viet.
This is already my 4th year working for LLV, which shows I really enjoying teaching here. First I worked 2 years at the location at Lang Ha, which is now 34T, and then I moved to Dai Co Viet to be Senior Teacher.
The variety of levels and ages of students makes my job very interesting. It's always a challenge and a joy to deliver my lessons in the best way I can to help all students improve all their skills. I'm thankful for being part of a great team of Vietnamese and foreign staff. And next to that, I'm grateful to play a role in students' and teachers' development and for their trust in me."
"I would like to say how much i enjoy teaching under Schools Link.
When I began in September I had around 6 months experience teaching, but with little training. With Schools Link, I believe I've learnt a considerable amount and progressed a lot.
I've learnt new games through workshops and having the centre to share ideas with other teachers. The initial training was great for setting me up with the ODI book pages and what to do for each stage of the unit.
Having the observations were nerve racking, but valuable in order for one to see where improvements are needed and where one is doing well.
I'd like to return to schools link next year and would like to discuss this with someone if possible."
"I have worked for the company for the last two years and experienced both primary and secondary teaching. The Regional Head Teachers have been supportive throughout my time and offered continuous help with lessons and with any issues with schools, making it much easier to meet expectations from the schools, which can sometimes be unclear. I have found that centres have been supplied with more than enough resources and materials to do my job thoroughly."
"Working for Schools Link has been great! I have worked with the company for two years. The support provided by managers and staff has enabled me to develop my skills, share ideas and my experiences. We have a strong teaching community and a lot of resources available to create fun and exciting lessons. The work- life balance allows me to enjoy evenings and weekends with the bonus of great social activities offered regularly by Schools Link. Having worked for other companies in Hanoi I have personally found Schools Link to be the best in all aspects of working life."
